Be alert during the holiday season! Cybercriminals know people tend to let down their guard.. when we are busy, in a rush or distracted. It only takes one click to fall victim to an attack.
If you do click on something you shouldn’t have, tell someone (IT, manager, Compliance Officer, etc) immediately! Don’t wait until after you come back on Monday or after the holidays. Sometimes, it only takes a few minutes for the entire network to be damaged. The sooner the right people are notified, the sooner they can try to contain the damage.
